by hasiwens is a partnership of Karin Haslinger (hasi) and Joseph
Wensell (wens), which was created to provide marketing and design
services for the music industry with an international approach.
Karin Haslinger holds a masters degree
in International Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing
and music business from the University of Vienna in Austria. Experience
includes high profile marketing campaigns for notable brands such
as SMART, Heineken, and Nestlé; and working with the Austrian
Embassy’s Cultural Forum in Washington, D.C. and with JazzTimes
Magazine.
Joseph Wensell has been working in
the music industry since 1989, beginning at the retail level at
the height of the CD revolution with the Washington D.C. metropolitan
retail chain, Kemp Mill Music. Additional experience: 10 years as
the Advertising Manager with America’s premier jazz publication,
JazzTimes and 1 ½ years with France’s prestigious
Jazz Hot.
