Regional Assizes for Volunteering

Issues

The City of La Ferté-Bernard, in the Sarthe, organizes with IRIV , the 27th of February 2004, Regional Assizes on Sport Volunteering. People in charge of associations in the Sarthe's cities, the general council (Sarthe) and the regional council (Pays de la Loire Region ) are invited to this special event whose main goal is to make a statement, in 2004, European Year for Education in Sport (EYES 2004), on sport volunteering : its issues for the clubs, the local autorities, the public. It should be the first step for a more developped study on sport volunteering on a European level. IRIV is associate to this special event to initiate reflexion and debate, make proposals with all the participants to improve knowledge and recognition of sport volunteering. The participants have been chosen on the basis of their expertise in volunteering, sport and associative life.
