The Digest presents several research reports from the museums and libraries sector, looking, inter alia, into the evidence base for social benefits of the sector, the accessibility of museum, library and archive websites, etc. Another prominent topic of research is investigating the role played by arts and culture in the community.

Supplemented to this issue is the annual index 2005 listing, by title, all research reports summarised in the three numbers of 2005.
