EBLIDA's newsletter provides information on EU
library and information society issues including culture. Among the
regular sections, there is a list of relevant articles in the Official
Journal, and an update on EU funding opportunities.
This issue also includes an article on the EBLIDA response to the
European Commission public consultation on GATS, requesting the exclusion
of the sector "Libraries, archives, museums and other cultural
services" from the negotiations. The full text of the response is
annexed.
