the
London-based "Intelligence of Culture" (ex International Art
Bureau) has already been circulated electronically in the Cultural Policy
and Action Department.
As usual, the Compass reports on developments in the cultural
sector at European level, news of the community, information on
funding possibilities, conferences, publications, etc.
Among the articles worth of attention in this issue is a discussion on
the type of voting to be applied to culture in the EU, and the presentation
of the results of the consultation meeting on the TV without
Frontiers Directive. A general overview of a
seminar organised by the European Cultural Foundation on the relationship
between media concentration and cultural diversity is also included.
