Kulturstiftung des Bundes reports on the Foundation's activities and the various projects it funds, both in the area of
contemporary culture and cultural heritage. In the opening article, the
German Minister of State for Cultural and Media Affairs addresses two issues
of current cultural-political significance - the planned merger of the
Federal Cultural Foundation with the Cultural Foundation of the German
Länder, and efforts to strengthen cultural education in the society of
knowledge.
Also of interest is the presentation of a new thematic focus in the
Foundation's activities: the programme Future of Labour will deal with the
cultural perspectives of the transformations of the working society. |
