Of interest in this issue is the article synthesising the main findings of a recent study on creative industries in Vienna which came to the result, inter alia, that the local cultural sector contributed to a 6% increase in employment between 1998-2002. Worth noting is also the news item on an eCulture workshop in May 2004 which explored the recent technological options for the cultural heritage sector.
