| This newsletter was created upon the entry into force of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of
the Intangible Cultural Heritage in April 2006.
This second issue features a chronological listing of those countries
that have ratified the Convention as of March 2006. Other topics are the
inventory-making, a key obligation of States Parties to the Convention, as
well as implementation measures in various Latin American countries.
