The present number of the Network
of European Museum Organisations' newsletter focuses on the topic of museums
and cultural diversity, including two statements of NEMO, one on the
Civil Society Platform for Intercultural Dialogue, initiated by EFAH, and
one on the forthcoming EU Communication on Culture. Of special interest is
the presentation of the EU Action Plan for the Promotion of Museum
Collections' Mobility and Loan Standards which became operational during the
Finnish EU presidency.
Also of interest is the interview with Helga Trüpel, the Vice-Chairwoman
of the Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament.
