This number of the journal of the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art is entirely dedicated to the discussion of populism in view of the international exhibition project which NIFCA will present in 2005. A writer coming from each of the countries in which the exhibition will take place (Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands and Norway) has contributed an essay to this issue, exploring the relationships between contemporary art and current social and political trends. |
