  The focus section of this number is dedicated to tolerance and its limits. Worth noting among its contributions: an interview with the French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy on this topic (p.20-21); another interview with the Indian author and Muslim dissident Ibn Warraq about the Islam's understanding of tolerance (p.26-27); an article by Seyran Ates, a German women's rights lawyer of Turkish origin, on human dignity and religion (p.42-43); a world wide selection of awards celebrating tolerance (p.58); a short  history of tolerance by Said (p.61).

Worth noting in the other sections: an article by Giscard d'Estaing on the meaning of the German-French relationship for Europe (p.71); the contribution by Malik on the growing "Islam industry" providing information and advice on the Islam (p.72-74).
