What do we do ?
Our folkloric group sings, dances and participates to any manifestation
related to Polish Folklore. Dances are divided into:
- national dances: Polonez, Mazur, Kujawiak, Oberek and Krakowiak.
- regional dances: Rzeszow, Nowy Sacz, Slask, Wielkopolska ...
Songs are taken from patriotic repertoire and from songs of the simple
people. These last speak about nature, love, work in the fields... Their themes
are also inspirated of different events of the life; the most important being
the wedding which can last for 3 days.
Each performance is sonorised using a magnetic tape giving a rich
harmonisation. Songs and simple dances are supported by akordeons.
