ISO TS 16 949 certification achieved at the 1st audit
It took Illkirch Industries just 7 months to obtain ISO TS 16 949 automotive certification. Truly a record time in which to acquire a certificate that provides worldwide recognition of Alcatel Illkirch Industries' compliance, in terms of organization and production, with automotive industry demanding standards. This achievement is indicative of the competence and the motivation of the teams that contribute daily to the success of this entity. It also proves how adaptable they have shown themselves to be, moving on in just a few years from PABX production to professional and home terminals, then to the mass production of mobile telephones (10 million/year) and of high technology optoelectronic components. Already certified to ISO 9 001 (version 2000) and ISO 14 001, Alcatel Illkirch Industries now offers a new and competitive expertise in electronics production and repair. Quite a performance !
