How to rent a studio?

1/check the availability on the availability calendar. 2/fill out the reservation form on our website and send it. You can do it as well by mail or fax and a cheque corresponding to an account of 50 % of the rental. This cheque (established in Euro) or a credit transfer in Euro will be accompanied by your exact address (mail, telephone and a copy of your passport recto-back) your choice of the studio and the exact dates of your arrival and departure in order not to make any mistakes. The balance will be made the day of your arrival with handing-over the keys added by the expenses occuring by the banktransaction (by transfer or cheque) that the owner has to undergo because of the bank charges. You will also give a cheque of guarantee of 550 EUR which will be returned to you after the inventory with the condition that any dammage has been occasionned. Please let us know the approximate hour of your arrival knowing that the arrivals are made from 4 pm until 7 pm and the departures until noon..

Can one only consider a stay of a few days?

We accept one week stays (7 days) and beyond.

If I want to remain one day or two more?

If possible (see the page of availability) you can add days at the expenses of 75 EUR per day.

Where are the studios located? Can one visit the apartments?

We made the Web site so that the people living away from Paris (or from France) can have a precise idea of the site and quality of the studios without having to visit. When the studio is rented we cannot disturb the tenants with visits. This is why we give you a maximum of details and photographs. We remain nevertheless at your help for all additional questions about the place. You will understand that to rent an apartment in short duration is like renting a hotel room. On the other hand for longer stays we can try to find a solution. (while the studios are not rented).

Which is the size of the studios?

You can find all information on each studio on the home page, you will also find descriptions, photographs etc, for a more precise idea.

Which is the level of comfort?

We can say that it is close to a category of a 3 stars apartment, clean and just renovated. Moreover we take care personally of the comfort and the cleanliness of the studios. In the event of problems we intervene to regulate them. For example the sofa-bed is equipped with a BZ system with opening and automatic closing. This makes it possible to handle them with a minimum of effort. Better than a futon, it has a real mattress with the size of a double bed (162x205). (The sofa-bed is on casters. It is light, and when you wish to use it, it moves easily with your suitability. You have a trunk in wicker which can be used as a coffee table and arrangement of the bed sheets also. There are several plaids and covers of variable thickness. There is a mini-pharmacy for emergencies, mini umbrella in the event of lapse of memory, shampoo, shower gel, liquid soap, Kleenex, cotton and a hair dryer. You have two large plates wich you can use for dinner even if you wish to watch T.V. An alarm clock, CDs, DVDs and a mini-bar.

How long does the answer to a request for reservation take.

You can refer in the page " availability " which is regularly updated by our care. Moreover we reserve a period asked by a customer only after reception of downpayments.

Price

Our prices include the rent, electricity, the heating, the use of water and loads, the insurance owner, the taxes. Cloths, towels (according to your needs) and supplements dishes provided.

In case of cancelation what happens to my down payments?

In the case of cancellation more than two months before the date of the beginning of renting, the deposit of reservation will be turned over to the expenses of the tenant minus ten percent (10%) to cover the expenses of cancellation. In the case of cancelation less than 45 days before your date of rental your deposit is lost. In the case of cancelation less than three weeks before the effective date of the renting the tenant will pay, moreover, the difference between the downpayment and the rental fee to the owner. In case premature departure the owner will not have to refund you the difference. In the case of cancelation on behalf of the owner, he will have to pay, in seven days following the cancelation, the double of the downpayment to the tenant.

How much is the security deposit?

If you wish to rent a studio we ask a guarantee of 500 Euros for the length of your stay, together with the balance of the rent. Then you will receive the keys. This deposit will not be boxed to the bank, it will be in your file. On your arrival you will normally pay the complement of your rent in cash or in cheque established in Euro, at the end of your stay and the restitution of the keys your cheque is returned to you if no material dammage occurred during your stay. It may be that we cannot be with you at the time of your departure early the morning: in this case we can meet the day before in the evening or we ask you to fill out the sheet of the extras (which will be given to you on your arrival) and to leave the corresponding sum in the studio, close it well with the keys and to place them in a place we will indicate you. For this case and as for your guarantee there are two solutions: we destroy it in the case of no dammage in the studio or we return it to you in the eight days following your departure.

Will my cheque be cashed?

No, as we have just indicated it acts just as guarantee, if the inventory is good at your leaving the studio it will be directly restored to you.

Is the cleaning included in the price?

The household made on your arrival is included in the price of your rent. At the end of your stay you must leave the studio as clean as you found it. Is the studio is not as clean as initially we ask to you an additional fee of 25 EUR.

What to do in order to leave the studio clean?

The studio must thus be as clean as you found it. We ask you to put all your used linen in the linen bag in the bathroom. We ask you to wash the dishes and put them back in the kitchen drawers. To clean the studio, there is everything you need including a vaccum cleaner.

What do I need to know in case some of my belongings get stolen?

It is highly advised to the tenant to get his own inssurance, for the owner is not responsible for any belongings stolen during the stay.

Are animals allowed?

We are really sorry but animals are not allowed because of hygiene.

Is it allowed to smoke in the studio?

It would be better that you do not smoke. If you wish so, let us request you to use the products (as the incense) which are in the studio for this reason in order to keep the air clean for those who come after you.

Departure

For your departure you can ask for a taxi (see on the list of the useful numbers in the studio). We can also accompany you by paying a fixed price for the two airports (Orly and Roissy). You will let us know in advance. If not you will find a list of public transportation.
