IN MEMORIAM

Every year, on November 25, date of the Big Raid, the Strasbourg University commemorates it in its buildings , with the survivors, theirs friends and families. Every year (time goes) the number of these vitnesses declines.
The young Guy Mocquet's acts of resistance and heroism are still vivid in the French collective memory. Many streets and a subway station in Paris have been named after him.
But few people know the acts of resistance and the heroism of the Strasbourg French University, which lost 139 of its members, who were shot or died in deportation. Amongst them where :
