Supplemented to this issue is a literature review on the impact of legislative and policy changes on Britain's cultural sector under New Labour; research literature dealt in particular with the new public management style, evidence-based policy making, and the social inclusion agenda, whereas the sector's artistic output has only been dealt with in British newspapers.
