This number's dossier focuses on the place of art and culture in the press throughout
Europe featuring reports from Greece, Hungary, France and Italy, Spain, Romania,
and the Balkan countries. The role of national newspapers and of international
magazines in bringing about a European public space is discussed as well. The regular press review includes
brief articles about the current cultural decentralisation process in Greece, and the cultural budgets of Spain and Italy for 2006.
