EBLIDA's newsletter provides information on
European library and information society issues including culture. Among the
regular sections, there is a list of relevant legal texts in the Official
Journal, as well as an update on EU funding opportunities. This issue
presents, inter alia, short summaries of the Italian Presidency's
programme for culture, the report by MEP Zorba on cultural industries, and
the view of the European Commission on the planned international
convention on cultural diversity.
