number of the four-page newsletter of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and
Xenophobia (EUMC) reports, as usual, relevant news from EU member states and from EU and international
levels, as well as from the Centre itself. Of special interest is the
summary of a recent EUMC study dealing with integration and discrimination
in the education sector in the EU.
It includes a short presentation of the latest ECRI recommendation on the fight against antisemitism, adopted in June 2004, urging Council of Europe member states to enact the necessary criminal legislation. |
