This edition of Europa Nostra's bilingual journal is dedicated to the 2005 round of the European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards scheme.

The issue presents the various projects, studies and dedicated services by individuals or organisations which have been awarded a monetary prize, a medal or a diploma for outstanding achievements in safeguarding cultural heritage, covering architectural heritage, cultural landscapes, works of art and archaeological sites.
