This newsletter by the
London-based "Intelligence on Culture" (ex International Art
Bureau) has already been circulated electronically in the Cultural Policy
and Action Department.
As usual, it reports on developments in the cultural
sector at EU and European level, news of the community, information on
funding possibilities, conferences, new publications, etc. Of
interest in this issue is the report on a seminar on local and global
cultures which was organised by the European Cultural Foundation UK
Committee; participants discussed the future environment for European
culture, looking in particular at the role of cities and regions.
