Worth noting is the summary of the last CIRCLE Round Table on urban cultural life and inter-city cultural interactions which took place in Warsaw in September 2005, presenting comparative research on cultural policies, cultural integration and cultural diversity in city life.

Of further interest is the short report on the recently approved UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Contents, presenting the main aims and summarising the principal points; the Convention reaffirms the rights of States to elaborate their own national cultural policies, and seeks to create an innovative platform for international cultural co-operation.
