The newsletter reports on developments in the cultural sector at the
European and the international level, news from the community, funding
possibilities, conferences, new publications, etc. This issue, already
circulated electronically in the Department, is the last one, as the journal
will cease to appear. This issue briefly presents the ongoing
consultations at various levels on the planned Year of Intercultural
Dialogue, proposed by the European Commission.
Also worth noting is the article commenting a recent IFACCA paper on the
influence of governments on arts funding, looking in particular at arm's length
bodies.
