The bulletin of the International
Council on Monuments and Sites informs about the projects in which the
Council is involved, the activities of its national committees and
internal developments. This issue reports on the conservation of the
Buddha statues of Bamiyan (Afghanistan) and on the action taken by ICOMOS in
reaction to the Tsunami catastrophe in South-East Asia. In addition, it
presents the extensive bibliographic database of the Conservation
