on legal developments in Europe in the broadcasting, audiovisual and new media sectors, and reports also on judgements of the European Court of
Human Rights in this area. One of the articles concerned with the
Council of Europe reports on the Recommendation
on Freedom of Expression in the Media in Europe adopted by the Parliamentary
Assembly in January 2003.
The supplement to this issue, Iris plus, presents the new
regulatory framework of the EU for the communications sector.
