As usual, this journal provides news
on legal developments in Europe in the fields of broadcasting and new media. Of special interest is the report on the European ministerial conference on mass media policy, organised by the Council of Europe in Kyiv in March 2005; diversity was one of its central themes, and the adopted resolutions include the promotion of cultural diversity and media pluralism, as well as the fostering of intercultural dialogue and tolerance in the media. |
