  This magazine provides news on legal developments in Europe in the fields of broadcasting, cinema and new media. This issue, however, only includes news of national scope.

Of interest from Germany: the European Commissioner for Media and the Information Society met with the head of governments of the Länder concerning the reform of EU media regulations - the promotion of cultural and linguistic diversity in broadcasting, as well as of the pluralism of the media shall be maintained as a goal.

And from Turkey: A video that was deemed to insult Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, had to be removed from the video-sharing website YouTube according to a the Istanbul First Criminal Peace Court.
