This number focuses on German cultural policy between 1998-2002, the legislative period of the last government under which, for the first time, the function of a Federal Government Commissioner for Cultural and Media Affairs, has been introduced. Also discussed is the Colloquium on the cultural aspects of EU enlargements which took place in June 2002 in Cracow. One of the papers presented at this Colloquium is the Europe of Cultures by Olaf Schwencke. |
