The opening article of this issue is dedicated to the Ministry's cultural action in the neighbourhoods. Also of interest is the report on the European Conference "Inclusive Europe" in Budapest. The next of these EU-European cultural meetings will take place in Granada in April 2006.

This number's dossier is dedicated to the promotion of linguistic diversity, on the occasion of the 24th edition of the Expolangues exhibition which will take place in Paris in January 2006.
