This number of the Newsletter of the
International Council of Museums - here the French version - focuses on
intellectual property. It is the first of a three-part reflection on how
ownership issues affect museums and the way museum professionals work.
Articles provide a definition of intellectual property as it relates to
museums, present a WIPO documentation project to map intangible heritage
holdings in the world's museums, and highlight the need to approach
intellectual property in museums in a way that accounts for cultural
diversity. The section Museums of the World presents a selection of food
museums, and the remaining sections inform, as usual, on activities of ICOM and its committees.
An English
version is also available. |
