This information
bulletin of the Organization of World Heritage Cities reports in three
languages - English, French, Spanish - on activities of the Organization
and its members concerning the management of cities in which World Heritage sites
are located. Of interest in
this number is the short account of the Euro-Asia seminar on the development
of cultural tourism in November 2005 in Turkey, in which the Council of
Europe participated. Worth noting is furthermore the presentation of the seven new
sites on
the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2005 including Gjirokastra (Albania),
Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Le Havre (France), Syracuse (Italy) and
Yaroslavl (Russian Federation). |
