In its focus, this number of the newsletter on French cultural and arts policy
critically analyses the contribution of cultural industries in France to
cultural diversity; the protection of industries is not in line with a
proper diversity policy.
Worth noting in the main section: the two French organisations dealing
with international cultural relations - Association française d'action
artistique (AFAA) and Association pour la diffusion de la pensée
française (ADPF) - were merged into a new public body -
CulturesFrance - in order to streamline efforts and resources in
disseminating French culture. |
