Theory, Culture, Society
vol. 23 (2-3), March-May 2006

This special issue is the first volume of the New Encyclopaedia Project which marks the 25th anniversary of Theory, Culture, Society. Under the title Problematizing global knowledge it presents a critical approach to encyclopaedic knowledge under the impact of globalisation and digitalisation. The 614 pages strong volume is a kind of encyclopaedia of the main concepts in cultural studies, unfinished and unfinishable by nature. Please see also the abstract in the New Acquisitions June 2006.
