On this topic, the Minister of Culture organised a seminar and commissioned a report to Xavier Greffe, expert in cultural economics. Greffe examined in particular the role of cultural tourism in France and advocates for a "culturally creative nation". Also the National Assembly draw up an  information report on cultural action as factor for sustainable development at local and regional levels.
