This number of the newsletter on
French cultural and arts policy discusses the 2008 budget proposed by the
Minister of culture. In total, there is a rise of 3%: priority is given to
cultural heritage, whereas the activities linked to cultural democratisation
and international cultural action will suffer from cuts.
