This number of the newsletter on
French cultural and arts policy focuses on the free access to museums which
the French government has decided for 14 museums, both in Paris and in the
regions. The test phase will start on 1 January 2008 for a period of six
months. The continuation of the free access will depend on the impact,
measured in visitor figures and the attraction of new audiences. Of interest in the industries section: The income from the export of French films has increased by more than 11% in 2006. |
