Of special
interest in this issue is the article by Amin on the nature of European belonging. The
author highlights how the classical idea of Europe, based on historical
and religious values, is becoming more and more exclusionary and tries to
develop a new idea of European integration more based on commitment to
pluralist rights also for minorities and migrants rather than on common ideals.
