here an English translation :
« In the same time Venus are recording
their second album, which should be released in september 2002, their singer treats
himself with a solo tour to introduce some new songs, along with a few surprising
covers... all of which should end up in an album soon. As Marc A. Huyghens currently
lives in Saint-Gilles, he'll come and sing them quite naturally at the Jacques
Franck venue... »

Nights (not played)
How
beautiful you are was played for the first time in public. Nights
was not played (probably a matter of timing).
Marc kinda "reassured"
the audience by saying that Venus still was his favourite band, and that he played
these songs by himself because he had written them and had to release them one
way or another :)

Show with Jozef Dumoulin, electric piano. Falling in
love again has been the only song played with the guitar, every other was
accompanied by the keyboards. In a long moan, the Venus b-side from the
Welcome to the modern dancehall era was introduced by Marc as a "surprise
for Christian" (Schreurs, Venus violonist, who was in the audience).
And
last but not least Big Waste Ground,
played for the first time here, is a Venus song that we will discover in Vertigone.

to Laurent !]

I see a Darkness (Bonnie 'Prince' Billy)
If you
come back home
I see a Darkness is a cover from Will Oldham, released
on his recent album of the same title under the name Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. It
was played for the first time by Marc.
If you come back home is a new
song, whose title isn't definitive yet. Marc told me it may show the direction
his solo album will take.
[thanks to simonb, who also took some pictures
of the show !]
