1 - TREASON. FROM MARCH 5, 1944 TO AUGUST 13, 1944, 192 DAYS IN
THE LIFE OF MATHIEU, A FRENCH SONDERKOMMANDO
- After participating actively to the Great Raid
of November 25, 1943 Mathieu, assisted with
Vermière, Bresson and Sautarel, all old them in their
mid-twenties, created, in March 1944, a French Sonderkommando working
for the Gestapo and taking part in their operations: searching
patriots, arresting and interrogating them, and fighting against the
maquis.
- In August 1944 (after the Landing), Mathieu and Bresson
tried to flee the country, then to be considered as secret agents.
- Mathieu's arrest took place on September 13, 1944
PART
2 - FROM NOVEMBER 17, 1944 TO DECEMBER 12, 1944 : MATHIEU'S TRIAL,
JUDGEMENT AND EXECUTION
- Mathieu was juged by the Court of Justice of
Clermont-Ferrand almost a year, day for day, after the Great Raid.
Those of the deportees who had survived had not returned yet.
- Mathieu, sentenced to death, was shot on December 12, 1944.
