Etudes - revue de culture contemporaine
No. 3, mars 2007

Edited by the Jesuits, this French monthly journal engages in a wide range of cultural, social and political issues, many of international scope.

Of special interest is the article on the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, reflecting on achievements of the European integration, as well as on areas needing improvement.

Also of interest: the article on the unifying effects of the Armenian diaspora; the essay on the varying roles of silence in the different religions.

The articles section is complemented by a "Carnet" which reviews topical cultural events in France such as theatre pieces, films, television programmes, exhibitions, concerts and books, both fiction and non-fiction.

The detailed table of contents with abstracts is available online on the publisher's website at this external link.
