Of special interest in this June
issue is the article on the climate change which requires urgent action - an
opportunity for Europe to position itself in the international scene, in
particular in defending the Kyoto Protocol (p.749-758). Other articles concern the political situation in South America which never had so many democratic governments since the Second World War; the role of the church and lustration in Poland; the crisis of the French higher education system; empathy and vulnerability in social relations. The articles section is complemented by a "Carnet" which reviews topical cultural events in France such as theatre pieces, films, television programmes, exhibitions, concerts and books, both fiction and non-fiction. The detailed table of contents with abstracts is available online on the publisher's website at this external link. |
