The main theme in Europa Nostra's journal is industrial heritage, addressing issues of conservation, promotion and use for economic regeneration.

To look out for in the remaining part of the journal: the article on economic growth and environmental degradation in Malta requiring a responsible plan for sustainable development. The text on the precarious situation of cultural heritage in Kosovo is based on two visits to the region in 2005, organised in co-operation with the Council of Europe.

The articles are either in English or French with a summary in the other language, and illustrated with beautiful photos.
