The bulletin of the International
Council on Monuments and Sites informs about the projects in which the
Council is involved, the activities of its national committees and
internal developments. Thus, this issue in French language presents the
preparations for the International Day for Monuments and Sites 2007 and
2008, reports on heritage at risk, introduces the triennial ICOMOS Action
Plan for 2005-2008, etc. The cover story deals with the effects of the
climatic change on cultural heritage. Of special importance in the news
section is the presentation of the Cultural Corridors of South East Europe
project in which the Council of Europe is involved: the new website
Cultural Corridors of South East Europe
is meant as a practical implementation of the Varna Declaration of
2005 and offers a virtual trip along the cultural routes in the region. |
