This special issue of the interdisciplinary journal deals with
cultural differences
in tourism and aims to respond to the increasing research needs in cross-cultural
relations. Articles tackle with topics such as cultural impact on tourist
surveys, intercultural and interreligious differences in travel
destinations, cross-cultural comparison of ethical standards of student
tourists, intercultural relations between tourists and hosts, impact of
backpacking tourism on local cultures, conflicting cultural values, etc.
