How to buy your train tickets
Ticket cost
Tickets from Paris to Landerneau cost about 25-60€ one-way.
The journey lasts 4-5 hours, depending on whether the train is direct or not.
Trains leave Paris approximately every 2 hours between 7am-7pm.
If possible, take a direct train, which will save you the trouble of having to transfer in Morlaix or Rennes.
Tickets from Brest to Landerneau cost about 3.20€ one-way.
The journey lasts about 10 minutes.
Trains leave Brest approximately every half-hour to hour throughout the day.
On-line Booking Instructions
You may book your tickets online at the SNCF site. The site has an English option.
The cheapest tickets are made available online exactly 60 days before the day of the trip.
In other words, to buy your tickets at the lowest price,
you will buy 2 one-way tickets instead of 1 round trip ticket.
Log on to the site 60 days before your departure date to buy a one-way ticket to your destination.
Then log on to the site 60 days before your return date to buy a one-way ticket back.
There is no discount given for round trip tickets.

Book through a travel agent
Any US travel agent should be able to book your train tickets for you.
The agents may be able to buy tickets more than 60 days in advance,
though you probably won’t get the lowest price.
Other places you can go on the train
If you are interested in exploring Brittany either before or after the wedding,
there is connecting train service between Landerneau and:
Rail Pass
If you are planning on doing some more train travel,
the best deal may be to buy a rail pass.
This will allow you several days of travel at a fixed price.
These passes MUST be purchased in the US before you leave.
Remember that while the pass allows you to travel on the train without buying a ticket,
you still need a seat reservation in most cases.
Your travel agent should be able to sell you the pass and make you the necessary seat reservations.
