IMS, "Assessing a voluntary experience- AVE", Bank of Luxembourg, Luxembourg; 15 th of May 2009
The Institute for Social Responsibility - IMS Luxembourg asked the president of Iriv to prepare and deliver a course on the issues of AVE among people responsible for Human Resources.
The President of Iriv explained the issues of AVE, on the basis of the results achieved in the previous LdV project AVE in a professional perspective (www.eEuropeassociations.net) , she developed the different parts of the portfolio proposed as a tool and method.

UTGM, third plenary meeting of the "TIPS" Leonardo da Vinci project, Rome, 15 th and 16th of January 2009
The TIPS project is a Leonardo da Vinci project proposed and directed by the For.com interuniversity Italian consortium . It gathers 6 partners from 5 countries : For.com (leader) and Gruppo Pragma for Italy ; Auxilium for Austria ; Iriv for France ; theHellenic Open University for Greece and the Tischner European University for Poland. The TIPS project aims at realizing a pilot training course for cultural mediators based on t-learning methodology.
This third meeting aimed at preparing the experimentation of the training programme : 5 modules developed on the 3 platforms, on the basis of the programme proposed by Iriv (17 modules answering the needs expressed by the cultural mediators , JUly 2008).

INDL, Kick off meeting of the proejct "VA2EL", Paris, 11th and 12th of December 2008
This project has been initiated by the Institut national du Développement local (INDL) in close partnership with Iriv. It is gathering 8 partners from 6 countries : INDL(Leader) , Iriv (coordinator) and Aric for France ; For.com for Italy ; Oikodrom for Austria ; Association for Adult Education in Greece ; IRSS in Poland and KLMCTS in Lituania.
The VA2EL project aims at proposing an e-portfolio for local councilors to allow them to identify and value the skills and competences they have acquired and developed during their elective work (both local authorities and associations) . This kick off meeting is meant to intriduce the different partners and to explain the social demand the project is answering in each of the countries.

Auxilium, Second plenary meeting of the "TIPS" Leonardo da Vinci project, Graz (Austria), 2nd and 3rd of October 2008
The TIPS project is a Leonardo da Vinci project proposed and directed by the For.com interuniversity Italian consortium . It gathers 6 partners from 5 countries : For.com (leader) and Gruppo Pragma for Italy ; Auxilium for Austria ; Iriv for France ; theHellenic Open University for Greece and the Tischner European University for Poland
The TIPS project aims at realizing a pilot training course for cultural mediators based on t-learning methodology. Cultural mediators skills and competences are stimulated and challenged by their public, the immigrants, requiring targeted and customized answers to very specific, sometime individual, problems. This second meeting aimed at presenting the results achieved so far in the Management work package (WP), the dissemination WP and the Results & Studies WP. Two national meetings have been organised in Italy and France. Three Newsletters have been published (May, July and September). Five reports have been realised : the first on immigration and integration policies in the 5 countries ; the second on the profession of cultural mediation ; the third on the training needs expressed ; the fourth on case studies. A first framework of training programme has been proposed by Iriv : 17 modules answering the needs expressed by the cultural mediators met.

The borad has presented the innovative initiative 'Villes associatives " extended to all the French Territory in 2008 . A presentation will be made at the Salons des Maires in November. The Union nationale des réseaux associatifs (UNRA) llaunched by Cicos, de l'IFAC, de l'AVE, de la FBA and France Métropole, is meant to be the speakker for the 85% French associations françaises which work only with volunteers (Matisse, Viviane Tchernonog, Paris, 2007).

Iriv, French seminar for the TIPS project, Paris, 1st of July 2008
This first seminar organised in France with cultural mediators was meant to propose the issues and main objectives of the TIPS project.
The seminar gathered cultural mediators. A round table allowed to introduce the different participants : chinese and portuguese associations , Secours populaire local association, social centers... Bénédicte Halba presented the TIPS project : a pionner project for continuous training for cultural mediators, a brand new profession, with the innovative process of t-learning. A consultation has been made among cultural mediators in Ile de France to know their profiles and needs expressed for training . The main topics to be developed in the framework of this training programme should be : multiculturalism and interculturalism, national and européen policies in the field of immigration, issues of intégration for migrants (social housing, education and training, access to employment, health).

Iriv is member of the Board of the Cicos since 2006. Bénédicte Halba was elected General Secretary in 2007.
The general assembly presented the main activities of Cicos for 2007. It has enlighted the consultation made among the Cities in Ile de France for the 'initaitve "Villes associatives", meant to select the examples of best practices made by cities towards associations. The Cicos is going on with its actitives of training and councelling among associations in Ile de France.

Afpa, seminar for the impact study on the project "AVE for a professional perspective", Paris, 6th of June 2008
Initiated by the French Leonardo Agency (Agence Europe Education Formation France), the Association for Adults' Continuous Training (AFPA) was asked to lead an impact study on European projects considered as being examples of best practice.
Iriv's president, Bénédicte Halba, who directed the AVE project, a pilot project Leonardo da Vinci (2003-2006) has been interviewed by the two representativs of Afpa. She has precised the three main impacts of her roject as far as France is concerned: the portfolio proposed has been used in a more simple form for specific publics (such as soldiers' wives) ; the portfolio has been used as a pedagogical tool in training courses ; the results of the project have been the basis of a new call for proposal (a transfer of innovation in the framework of a new LdV pilot project). .

Direction for Youth and Sports in Aveyron, Seminar "Initiatives Jeunes", Rodez (Aveyron), 23th of November 2007
Tenth birthday of an action towards Youngsters in Aveyron.
Iriv's president has developped the dimensions of youth volunteering, youth initiatives.
